Why choose private or group tuition?

If you want to learn at your own pace and in the comfort of your own home, private tuition is for you. You might be:

• Considering university next year
• A recent asylum seeker in the UK
• A UK resident, finding it difficult to learn English
• Needing to improve your English so you can work in a professional industry in the UK - medicine, engineering or IT for example.

Upon request, I can also run courses for groups of students who have similar needs.

What can you study?

• English for fun - improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills without taking an exam
• IELTS - International English Language Testing System - essential for entry to university or professional careers in the UK
• The government’s ESOL (English as a Second Language) programme
• Cambridge General English exams - KET, PET, FCE, CAE and CPE.

When, where &  how much?

• When? Once or twice a week - at a time to suit you
• How long? Between one and two hours per session
• Where? In your own home or at my offices in Digbeth, central Birmingham
• How much? £22 per hour, £28.50 for 1.5 hours and £38.50 for 2 hours per student. Discounts are available for group tuition.
