Hello, my name is Hasu.

I am an experienced, empathetic and a dedicated English Language teacher (RSA Cert TESOL). I have a Doctorate in Education, BA (Hons) in Education, MA in Education and a Post Graduate in Mentoring. As well as teaching English language, I am an experienced teacher trainer, assessor, verifier, examiner, moderator and have worked in a senior management role.

My extensive experience includes teaching English as a Second Language to adults in different settings spanning over 25 years. I have taught in Further Education colleges and in Adult Education at all levels from Pre-Entry to Level 2 ESOL, Functional Skills and Teacher Education L3, L4 and L5 courses.

I have a passion for teaching ESOL; it’s my happy place and a rewarding experience. I enjoy helping ESOL learners; to see them grow in confidence; to progress and integrate in English with others is very rewarding. My calm and friendly approach will help you to settle and focus on a particular skill (Speaking and Listening, Reading, or Writing), or skills you need to improve your IELTS banding score, or speaking skills for accent reduction to improve pronunciation. My aim is to make learning fun, help you to achieve your goals and provide a positive learning journey.
